Need to locate your Tax-Free Childcare (TFC) reference number?

🧾 Here's a simple, step-by-step guide to help you find it quickly through the Government Childcare Service.

➡️ Visit the Childcare Payment Services Gov page; https://www.gov.uk/sign-in-childcare-account and sign in to your account.

Once you're on the home page, scroll down and select:
🔹 "Your Tax-Free Childcare account"

For each child you have under the scheme:
🔸 Click "Manage account" next to their name.

You’ll now see a page titled:
​"Summary for [Your Child’s Name]"

Within this section, there’s a short paragraph about payments to your childcare provider.

👉 Look for the sentence that reads:

"You should tell your childcare provider that the payment reference number for your child is..."

This is your TFC reference number, and it usually follows this format:

​[Child's initials] + numbers + TFC

When booking with FUNDA:

✅ You'll be asked to enter your child’s TFC reference number on the final payment page along with the amount of the booking.

✅ Once you're booking with FUNDA has been made, you will then need to log into your TFC account and transfer the amount of the booking to us, via the section ' pay childcare provider '.
