We hope this message finds you well. At FUNDA, we are committed to providing high-quality, Ofsted-registered childcare that is both engaging and affordable. Our mission is to ensure that your children have a safe, fun, and enriching experience while giving you peace of mind.
Due to the significant upcoming increases in Employers’ National Insurance and wages from 1st April 2025, we find ourselves in a position where we must adjust our pricing slightly. This decision has not been made lightly, but it is essential to ensure that FUNDA remains sustainable and can continue providing high-quality childcare all year round.
New Pricing Effective 5th March 2025:
1 child per week – £120/week (£2.40 per hour, an increase of 40p per hour)
2 children (siblings) per week – £205/week (£2.05 per hour, an increase of 35p per hour)
3 children (siblings) per week – £250/week (£1.66 per hour, an increase of 30p per hour)
Single day rate – £30 per day (first increase in six years) with sibling discounts available
Even with this update, our prices remain among the most cost-effective for Ofsted-registered childcare in the North West and are still below the regional average.

Support with Childcare Costs
As FUNDA is Ofsted-registered, there are financial support options available to help families manage childcare costs:
✅ Tax-Free Childcare – Eligible families can claim Tax-Free Childcare, where for every £8 you deposit into your childcare account, the government will top it up by an extra £2 (20%).
✅ Universal Credit – Families in receipt of Universal Credit can claim back up to 85% of their childcare costs, making childcare even more affordable.
We encourage all families to check their eligibility for these schemes, as they can significantly reduce childcare expenses.
Easter Holiday Camps – Bookings Open at 3PM 5th March!
We are excited to announce that bookings for our Easter Holiday Camps will go live at 3PM tomorrow! Be sure to secure your child’s place early to avoid disappointment.

We have explored offering different attendance options. However, due to previous challenges with families misusing flexible structures, and to ensure the safety and well-being of all children in our care, we are unable to make changes in this area at this time.

FUNDA
